Judging significant potential for the hotel industry in Taiwan, where the number of visitors from mainland China and the rest of the world is increasing rapidly, the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has introduced the Holiday Inn brand in this territory also. Spread across the globe with over 1,800 hotels, Holiday Inn Express now plans to grow its popularity in Taiwan.

After the successful launching of the Holiday Inn brand in Taiwan, followed by the opening of the first Holiday Inn Express at Taoyuan, InterContinental Hotels has now opened the Holiday Inn Express Taichung Park in Taichung. Both of these hotels at Taiyuan and Taichung are among the only internationally branded hotels in these areas and they are sure to cater to the needs of independent travelers.

According to Gary Rosen, senior vice preside Sales & Marketing, IHG Asia Pacific, the popularity of Holiday Inn lies in the amount of services and facilities offered to the customers. It shows in the number of travelers regularly checking in every second of the day at Holiday Inn Express anywhere around the world.
